Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

How Long Is That?

Did you happen to catch Obama saying that he wanted to meet with some of the World leaders that he's been meeting on his trip because they are the ones that he will be dealing with over the course of the next eight to ten years? Well, if you get your news from the mainstream media, chances are you missed this little gem. Personally, I heard it on the Mark Levin Show.

Anyway, did I miss something, or is it Obama who is unaware that: 1) Presidents can only serve (I should emphasize serve because I'm not sure he understands that a US President is not a ruler, but I digress) a maximum of two terms of four years each, and, 2)They must be re-elected in order even to get the second of those two terms of four years, and 3) He has not been elected the first time yet, so there is no guarantee that he will be dealing with these people at all.

I think that a lot of this goes to his arrogance. If you see him walking around he looks like he thinks he's the emperor of the world, or some such thing, and when he talks about the things that he wants to do as President (aka Marxism) he phrases it as I will do this or that, as if he will have unlimited power to do whatever he wants to do. And I don't think that the thought even occurs to him that he might not win this election. Of course he might win it, but it's far from certain.

There is another possibility though, as this is the same guy that said that he had visited 57 states, and still had two more to go. Most of us weren't sure where the US got an additional nine states from, but he seemed pretty confident, and again, the mainstream press didn't call him out on it. Of course, if McCain had said it, we never would have heard the end of it, and all the talk about how he was obviously too old for the job would have been deafening. Then again, maybe, with his unlimited power that he intends to wield, he'll just add some states to make himself right.

It might be interesting to see an assembled list of Obama's Gaffes, as he makes a lot more of them than Dan Quayle ever did, and you still hear all about how stupid he was.

Hopefully Obama will be President for zero years, but it's going to take the American people waking up and realizing what a true disaster he would be for the Country.
