Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Defending Sarah

Some people from the McCain campaign are out trying to blame his loss on Gov. Palin. They are claiming her to be stupid, or like a diva, or several other things. But don't be fooled, these stories are not true. I know that's a strong statement, but really, there's no credibility to them. First, the person making all of these wild accusations has chosen to remain anonymous, which is enough to make you wonder right there. Then there is the fact, as Bill O'Reilly pointed out last night, that when Senator McCain announced Gov. Palin as his running mate, the media sent an army of reporters and researchers to Alaska to dig up any dirt on her that they could. They even sent people with money, willing to pay for any negative stories, and the left Alaska empty handed. If she were all the things being claimed by this staffer, these reporters wouldn't have had a problem finding people to lay it all out for them.

So why would they be doing this? There are two reasons, really. First, some in the McCain campaign are stinging from the loss and unable to admit that their own inept handling of the campaign was a huge factor. Some other people in the campaign were angry over the Selection of the Alaska Governor, because they were Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee supporters and wanted them to be the VP selection. These are the people who tried to hurt Gov. Palin during the course of the campaign, and are now hoping to destroy her so that she won't be able to run in the future. These people are truly despicable.

The fact is that Governor Sarah Palin did not, in any way, shape, or form, cost John McCain the Presidency. In fact, she gave him his only viable shot at victory, which he, and his inept campaign staffers, sufficiently blew. If not for the selection of Gov. Palin, the election wouldn't have been even remotely close, McCain would have suffered the most staggering and crushing defeat in both the Popular and Electoral vote since Ronald Reagan trounced Walter Mondale in 1984 (winning 49 states!).

If you have been reading here for any length of time, you would know that I did not come on board with McCain until he selected Gov. Palin, and I can tell you, from people I've talked to personally, plus other blogs I've read, and listening to talk radio, I am not alone in that. In fact, millions upon millions of people voted, like myself, not for John McCain, but for Sarah Palin.

These losers that McCain surrounded himself with in his campaign are exactly what is wrong with the Republican party today. The time has come, Mark Levin is starting the process of reviving the Conservative movement. Once successful, we will have two options, to clean out the GOP, and get rid of the spineless liberal appeasers, like those McCain staffers, or to start a third party, which would be harder, but if the movement gains enough steam, could be done.

Sarah Palin stands to be a shining light for the future of the GOP and the Conservative movement, and these losers that want to destroy her had better watch out, because their footing is not as solid as they would like to think. Rank and file Republicans are too smart for their games.

mccain only picked her because she was a women.so we can say he used her to win.he seen that obama didn't pick clinton so he wanted a women because with a women he woul;d get to the white house.so the way i looked at this he used her big time.but i believe she could bring the people to rally but with little smarts that she has she was not bright enough to win.plus they took the low road all bad mouth to obama.that turned me off on her and mccain.it's about the people and they just wanted to down obama so the lost is on them .more worried about a win then the people.people want to hear about how we will get out of the mess we are in.but they kept the bad mouthing going.but just to let you know i voted for obama and i believe he will turn this mess around.so we will say the best team won

Ok, let's see:

"mccain only picked her because she was a women."

She is a woman, not multiple women, and no, that is not why he picked her, Democrats play identity politics, not Republicans.

"he seen that obama didn't pick clinton so he wanted a women because with a women he woul;d get to the white house."

Might he have made a different choice if Obama had picked Clinton? Perhaps, but he still didn't pick her because she's a woman, he picked her because she is an accomplished politician, with a record to be proud of, and a Conservative to show the base of the GOP that he really did care about us.

"but i believe she could bring the people to rally but with little smarts that she has she was not bright enough to win."

Ok, I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but look at what you have written, no captial letters, incorrect punctuation, incorrect grammar, incorrect tenses, and spewing unfounded rhetoric from the liberal media that shows no deep, careful thinking, and you are going to talk about Governor Palin's inteligence? (Yes, I'm fully aware that this is a run on sentence.) I'm not calling you unintelligent, these things don't prove you stupid, but they do prove a lack of careful and in depth thought.

"plus they took the low road all bad mouth to obama.that turned me off on her and mccain.it's about the people and they just wanted to down obama so the lost is on them ."

Actually, John McCain refused to be negative, he chose to use very little of the legitimate issues that he could have used that show Obama's judgement to be in doubt. Negative is fine, if it's true. There were a lot of people who forwarded emails of questionable veracity, but that was not McCain or his campaign, that was done by regular people. Yes, McCain lost this for himself because he ran a chaotic campaign, and did not stay on message. Obama did FAR better at that, and it paid off for him.

"more worried about a win then the people.people want to hear about how we will get out of the mess we are in."

And in fact, McCain did focus on that, but he did a poor job of explaining why we are in the mess we're in, and how we need to get out of it, so yeah, that's on him, but it's also hand in hand with the chaotic campaign that he ran.

"but they kept the bad mouthing going.but just to let you know i voted for obama and i believe he will turn this mess around.so we will say the best team won"

You are certainly free to believe that, but you've given no basis for it. If McCain had done a better job of explaining things, it would be easier to understand why Obama's plan won't work, if implemented as he stated it.

Everyone really needs to study history, and understand how things have worked in the past, before they can understand how things work now, and why certain things can work and certain things can't.

Don't take this personally, I'm very into vigorous debate, and I hope you'll continue to read and comment here, hopefully there are many things we could learn from each other.
